winemaker

andrew haugen

Andrew’s fascination with wine began as a simple curiosity while studying Biology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. So he started taking classes and delved into the Central Coast’s burgeoning wine-growing regions. And soon, that curiosity had become not just a passion, but a full-fledged career. Andrew spent his first harvest at Stonestreet in Sonoma County, and followed it up with stints at Church Road Winery in New Zealand, Howard Park in Australia, and Gran Moraine in the Willamette Valley before joining Odette Estate Winery in 2015.

Since then, Andrew has progressed from Cellar Master to Head Winemaker. Today, he oversees daily winemaking operations for Odette and Adaptation while working closely with long-time vineyard manager Oscar Renteria at Oso Vineyard, the 129-acre site in Pope Valley.
assistant winemaker

connor morrill

Connor inherited a love of wine from his father, but made that love wholly his own while studying Viticulture and Enology at the University of California Davis. He paired that education with hands-on experience, working with David Abreu Vineyard Management each summer on renowned vineyards like Screaming Eagle. But in 2016, he shifted his focus from the vineyard to the cellar. Eager for experience in wine production, he spent three years on the team at Cakebread, then traversed the Atlantic for a harvest at Château Beausejour-Becot in St.-Émilion, before returning to Napa in 2020 as the enologist at CADE 13th.

While working at CADE, Connor’s unquenchable thirst for knowledge drove him to complete the Wine Executive MBA program at Sonoma State University. And in 2024, he brought his blend of winemaking and business acumen to Odette Estate as Assistant Winemaker.
